Lossiemouth Flower Show set to be a ‘great, colourful show’
A colourful event is set to come to a north-east town hall in September.
The Lossiemouth Flower and Produce show is set to take place in Lossie Town Hall on Saturday, September 21.
Starting at 11am instead of the usual and previously-advertised time of 1pm, the event will feature flowers, fresh grown produce and home baking with entry costing only £1.
Prizegiving will take place at 1pm.
Entries to the show should be handed in on Friday, September 20, between 6.30pm and 9pm, or on Saturday morning between 7.30am and 9am.
Exhibits cost 20p for entry and have to be picked up by 2pm.
Flower Show secretary Frances Reddy said: “It’s a great, colourful show to see but even more fun if you take part.
“It would be good to see more people putting in exhibits, but either way we encourage people just to pop along and admire the hard work of our Moray gardeners, bakers and crafters.”
