Since then, she has poured her energy into brightening the lives of everyone she meets.

Her hard work was recognised when she was named Community Champion at the Moray and Banffshire Heroes Awards.

Her official role is to give back to the community, but what she does goes above and beyond.

After winning the award, Tracy said: “It’s amazing. I am overwhelmed and delighted. They were all good people that I was up against.

“Thank you to each and every one of you who voted for me. It’s been overwhelming, people that I don’t even know that have said they voted for me.

“This means the world to me. I am very proud to be the one of the rare people who can say that I absolutely love my job.

“Thank you and this award is for my dad.”

The Community Champion Award is sponsored by Walkers and was presented by HR Jill Armit.
