THE Moray and Grampian Christmas Toy and Food appeal is off to a flying start.

The donations have been flooding in over the last few weeks, so a big thank you to everyone who has contributed so far.

Your generosity will make a massive difference to the lives of people who otherwise might have a less cheery Christmas on the horizon.

Staff and patients at Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin are again appeal partners this year and they have deposited their first haul of goodies.

St Giles Centre shopping mall, Associated Seafoods in Buckie, Moray Council, Asda Elgin, Tesco Elgin and The Northern Scot and its sister papers are all appeal partners, along with other collection points.

The appeal runs until Friday, December 17.
