THERE'S young snake looking for his forever home in our latest Pet of the Week.

Can you help John find a new home?
Can you help John find a new home?

John is a young Burmese python who is being cared for by the Scottish SPCA Aberdeenshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre until he can find a new owner.

He loves to explore his surroundings and once he is out of his vivarium, he will spend hours if allowed investigating everywhere he can. Being a youngster means John still has some nervous tendencies in his vivarium, but once out and in your hands he settles quickly.

He still has quite a bit of growing to do, so anyone looking to rehome John will need to have experience with large snakes, knowledge of this breed and space to accommodate him.

If you can give John the home he has been searching for, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website: https://www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/4405-john
