Keith theft: Damage caused as ‘three-figure’ sum stolen, say police
STOLEN cash and damage resulted from an incident in Keith earlier this week, which has sparked a police appeal.
Officers said that a “three-figure sum of cash” was taken in the incident, as they urged the public to come forward with any information.
The theft happened between 9pm on Sunday, July 7 and Noon on Tuesday, July 9, according to police, at a “premises in Balloch Road”.
According to police, “entry was gained to the premises in Balloch Road, damage caused and a three-figure sum of cash taken”.
Enquiries are currently ongoing, the force added, and said dash cam or private CCTV could provide vital clues.
Constable Christopher Mackinnon said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area between these times and who saw anything that could assist to contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone in the area with dash cam or private CCTV footage to get in touch.”
