THERE was a large drop in the landings at Buckie Harbour last week as the Easter weekend beckoned.

Just three vessels landed their catches, which totalled 127 boxes of fish/prawns/squid and no bags of clams.

This compares to 788 boxes and no bags the previous week.

The boats bringing their catches to the quayside were Conquest, Radiance and Our May.

No cargo vessels called at Buckie, with two doing so the week before.
