TEN Elgin Johnston Carmichael employees have been recognised for their dedication at an annual ceremony.

Independent chartered accountants and business advisers Johnston Carmichael honoured 30 award winners – with a combined service of 565 years – at this year's Long Service Awards lunch and ceremony, held at Perth Racecourse. The firm holds the awards each year to thank staff who have contributed more than 10 years.

Winners gathered from offices all over the country including Aberdeen, Inverness, Fraserburgh, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth, each receiving a gift and certificate.

Elgin staff collecting awards included Phyllis Davidson, marking 40 years; Fiona Robertson and Lorna Cruickshank, with 30 years' service; Shirley Gallicker, celebrating 20 years; Aileen MacDonald and Gordon Grant, who have notched up 15 years; and Claire Hepburn, Claire Randle, Gavin Cuthill and Suzanne Harrold, all celebrating 10 years.

Craig MacPherson, managing partner of the Elgin office, said: "2019 has been a year of great change for Johnston Carmichael, with leadership transitions and the opening of our new Dundee and London offices to name but a few examples. What hasn’t changed, however, is the dedication and hard work of our team.

"With over 850 staff, we know that what sets us apart as a firm is our people. It’s absolutely fantastic to see these levels of commitment from such a talented team, and we don’t take that loyalty for granted."
