COMEDY hypnotist Kevin Jay is returning to Moray next weekend after his show went down a storm last year.

Folk from Fochabers first contacted Kevin 12 months ago after one of his videos went viral online, attracting more than four million viewers.

Now he's set to make a return journey up the A9 from his home near Liverpool.

He and his good friend, magician Paul Roberts, will be appearing at the Fochabers Institute on Friday, February 28.

Kevin said: "Neither me or Paul had ever been to Scotland before last year.

"It seemed a very long way to go for a gig – and we really weren't sure about accepting.

"Anyway, we spent the whole nine-hour car journey wondering what we might be getting ourselves into.

"We thought some people might not like us just because we're English.

"It turned out we couldn't have been more wrong – and they couldn't have been more welcoming.

"We had an absolutely brilliant time."

Gordon Christie, chairman of the Fochabers Village Association, urged people to come along to watch the show which is raising money for the institute.

He said: "Both Kevin and Paul were fantastic last year.

"It's a very funny night – and nobody has to go up on stage if they don't want to."

The show starts 8pm on Friday, February 28

Tickets £12 are available from Christie's Chemist or by calling 07843 967409 to reserve.
