Buckie businessman unveils Elgin Arnold Clark deal worth £2.6 million in major investment
A car dealership has expanded its reach with the acquisition of a new showroom.
Buckie businessman Charles Milne, who is Group Managing Director of Regency with branches in the town and Elgin, has unveiled the purchase of the Arnold Clark Linkwood Elgin dealership.
At present the showroom sells a range of Renault and Dacia vehicles.
The site will undergo a full refurbishment and be rebranded under the Regency name, housing the exciting and fast-growing MG brand. It will become the first MG dealership in Elgin.
Once re-opened, the Linkwood showroom will showcase a stock of 80- quality used vehicles.

Mr Milne said: “This acquisition demonstrates my continued commitment and investment in the local motor trade.
“I’m proud to be expanding our footprint with the purchase of our sixth motor trade site.”
The total investment in the acquisition and redevelopment will be £2.6 million, highlighting Mr. Milne’s ongoing dedication to strengthening automotive services in the region.
Earlier in the year it was announced that the existing Moravian site in Buckie will undergo a major redevelopment to accommodate the Citroën brand alongside the existing KGM franchise and Ford-authorized repair services. Mr Milne stated that the expansion will ensure customers in the region have access to a wider selection of vehicles and expert servicing options.
Additionally, the body and repair shop at this location will be fully refurbished, with a new state-of-the-art spray booth added to enhance repair and refurbishment capabilities.
