Part of the programme will see the opening of a new, purpose-built MG dealership in Elgin.

Regency owner Charlies Milne said: “A brand-new, purpose-built garage in Elgin will be developed to showcase MG’s next-generation vehicles, offering customers an exciting range of affordable, stylish, and technologically advanced models.

“We are also investing in the extension and refurbishment of our existing Vauxhall showroom in Elgin. This transformation will incorporate Vauxhall’s new branding and provide space for the introduction of Leapmotor – an innovative new electric vehicle brand. This expansion aligns with the growing demand for EVs and reinforces our commitment to sustainable mobility.

“Our existing Moravian site in Buckie will undergo a major redevelopment to accommodate the Citroën brand alongside the existing KGM franchise and Ford-authorized repair services. This expansion will ensure customers in the region have access to a wider selection of vehicles and expert servicing options. Additionally, the body and repair shop at this location will be fully refurbished, with a new state-of-the-art spray booth added to enhance our repair and refurbishment capabilities.”

Mr Milne went on to say that Regency was “proud” to align with world-renown franchises.

He added: “Through this investment, we will continue to provide some of the best automotive products from leading global manufacturers while ensuring a first-class customer experience.

“This strategic development marks an exciting new chapter for Regency and the motor trade in Moray. We look forward to welcoming customers to our new and upgraded facilities in the near future.”
