Moray car incident sees three injured in Buckie as 56-year-old expected in court

A 56-year-old man is set to appear in court after three men were struck by a car in Buckie’s Cluny Square, police have confirmed.
The area was cordoned off for several hours after police were called to the scene at around 2am on Saturday, September 21.
Police confirmed that the driver has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident, and is set to appear at Elgin Sheriff Court today.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called to a report of three men injured after being struck by a car in Cluny Square, Buckie.
“Emergency services attended and two men taken to hospital.
“A 56-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing."
