Court proceedings against a man accused of vandalising the mosque in Elgin have been adjourned until next month.

Mark McPherson appeared at the town's sheriff court this morning.

The 42-year-old pleaded not guilty to daubing racist graffiti on the religious building last May.

He was granted bail until his next court appearance on March 20.
