Elgin ‘collision’ on Morriston Road sees man transported to Dr Gray’s Hospital





A man has been taken to hospital after a crash on a residential street.

The man, in his 50s, was transported to Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin after the incident on Morriston Road.

It’s the second incident on the street in a matter of days, after another man in his 50s was struck by a vehicle on Saturday night.

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed they were called to a collision before 2pm.

“We received a call at 13.37 hours to attend a road traffic collision on Morriston Road in Elgin,” the spokesperson said.

“We dispatched one paramedic response unit and an ambulance to the scene, with our first arriving within three minutes.

“We transported one male patient in his 50s to Dr Gray’s Hospital.”
