MEET the Mermaid, the sequel, was another great success.

The Moray Firth Mermaid, Ashleigh More, and The Northern Scot, joined forces last week to give youngsters another chance to meet a real life mermaid.

The second event of the summer at Hopeman's east beach was in support of Logan's Fund - a local charity which supports children and families with life-changing illnesses - and Macmillan Cancer Support, Highland News and Media's charity of the year.

Logan's Fund has received £426 and Macmillan Cancer Support got £140.

A big thank you to everyone who came along last week and made a donation.
