Police confirm missing Nairn man has been found safe

A MISSING Nairn man has been found, police have confirmed.

Officers had issued a plea in the early hours of Tuesday, amid growing concern among Frank Grant's family and friends over his welfare. He had not been seen since leaving Montgomerie Drive in Nairn at 2.30pm on Monday.

But an update from officers shortly before midday confirmed that the appeal had been successful, and he had been traced “safe and well”.

“Thank you very much for sharing our appeal to trace Frank Grant, who was missing from his home in Nairn,” a spokesman added.
