Moray Blue Light festival at Moray College UHI cancelled amid coronavirus pandemic

THE Moray Blue Light festival planned for tomorrow at Moray College has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Organisers say it would have been unfair to host an event at this time promoting the emergency services when they are set to be under increasing pressure.

The inaugural event last year was a great success and attracted hundreds of people to the college.

In a statement, the organisers said: "The Moray Blue Light festival has taken the early decision to remove the pressure from the emergency services at this difficult time and cancel this Saturday's event."
