STAFF at a Moray business have raised £8200 for a health and wellbeing charity.

Over the last year, Gordon & MacPhail colleagues held a series of fundraising events, ranging from a tug of war challenge to dress down days and from sales and raffles to craft stalls.

This week, they gathered to present proceeds to their chosen charity for the year, the Moray Mental Health & Wellness Centre.

It offers a range of services that provide practical, emotional and social support designed to improve health and wellbeing.

Services are provided by a team of recovery practitioners, recovery workers and peer workers who have a personal experience of mental health problems and can share their own stories to inspire hope and belief in others.

The organisation is part of Edinburgh-based Penumbra Group, one of Scotland’s largest mental health charities.
