THE A98 between Fochabers and Cullen has reopened, Moray Council has confirmed.

The road had been closed due to a large tree which had been blown over in the aftermath of the adverse weather conditions on Friday.

The council also confirmed that the C13E Knockando to Dallas road and the C16E Portknockie to Spey Bay road have been cleared and reopened.

However, the B9118 Waterside Road near Rothiemay and the A939 Tomintoul to Cockbridge road remain closed at this moment in time.
