Moray Covid figures fall

A total of 165 people have tested positive for Covid-19 since September 15, down from 194 the previous week.

This taking the area’s total since the outbreak began to 3570.

Over the same seven days there were 912 negative cases, which is a slight fall from 1083 cases the week before.

No deaths were recorded in Moray.

NHS Grampian – which includes Moray, Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City – has now confirmed 35,028 cases of coronavirus since the outbreak began – up 1809 from last week’s update.

Neighbourhood view:

Out of the 24 different “neighbourhood areas” in Moray a total of 21 confirmed at least three cases of coronavirus between September 13 and September 19.

Elgin remains the worst-hit town in Moray, with 47 cases, compared to 62 the week before.

Buckie has confirmed 17 cases all in the west of the town.

Forres has 29 cases, with eight in Keith and neighbouring Fife Keith and 12 in Lossiemouth.
