EASTER is just a few weeks away and you can help put a smile on someone's face.

The Easter appeal is about giving people the feelgood factor.
The Easter appeal is about giving people the feelgood factor.

The Moray Easter Egg Appeal is coordinated by The Northern Scot, its sister papers and a number of other community partners.

Following on from the successful Christmas Toy and Food Appeal which helped more than 500 individuals and families struggling due to the pandemic and other factors, the Easter Egg appeal wants to brighten up Easter for everyone still struggling.

It's quite simple - if you buy a chocolate egg when out doing your essential shopping, you can donate it to the appeal and it will go to a young person or senior citizen.

The St Giles Centre, which remains opens, is again the main drop-off point for the appeal.

Dr Gray's Hospital, Moray Council, Asda Elgin, Tesco Elgin, Highland Industrial Supplies, WH Smith, B&M and Elgin BID are all appeal partners.

The appeal runs for the whole of March, so please help us if you can.
