Aaron Stewart, from Lossiemouth, and Scott Lorimer, from Montrose, played 100 holes at the course on July 20, raising £1616 for NHS Charities Together.

The video, released this week on their new YouTube channel called ASSL Golf, is half an hour long and details the day – from getting out of bed at 3.20m through to finishing the 100th hole just before sunset.

The duo went head-to-head to keep things interesting throughout the day.

The 100 holes amounted to more than a marathon, with both walking 70,000 steps.

Speaking after the event, Aaron said: “The standard certainly got worse as the day went on – my best round was a 76 and Scott’s was a 79. The worst was an 89.

“We did a match play, which Scott won 6-4, and that kept us going throughout the day.

“From the 14th hole onwards in the last round I could barely hit a ball, but we had a few boys supporting us which helped.

“The fact we were doing it for a cause as worthy as NHS Charities Together was a big driving force as well.”
