MORAY Lidl shoppers are in with the chance of winning £100 in vouchers as the supermarket celebrates an important milestone.

The first 100 customers through the tills in every Scottish store this Saturday can claim an exclusive goody bag – with one lucky bag in each store containing a £100 voucher.

Lidl – which has stores in Buckie, Elgin and Forres – is running the national £10,000 give-away to celebrate the opening of its 100th store, which will begin trading at North End Park, Cowdenbeath, this Saturday.

Ross Millar, Lidl GB regional director for Scotland, said: "It’s a year of momentous milestones at Lidl as we celebrate our 25th year in Scotland and look forward to opening our 100th store on Saturday.

"Since opening our first store in Scotland, we have built a network of over 60 Scottish suppliers and, as our estate grows across the country, we will continue to support local producers and proudly serve communities from Kirkwall to Stranraer."

On January 25, the first 100 customers in each store can claim a reusable jute bag filled with a selection of Scottish products. Within these bags there will be a packet of Deluxe Scottish Selection shortbread fingers and within one lucky pack in each store there will be £100 worth of vouchers.

Visit Lidl's website for more information on the competition.
