A Moray-based production company is searching for a locally-based actor/musical performer for its latest show.

Frozen Charlotte says it has already assembled a skilled team, but is now is looking to find one more person to join the cast.

The show Woodland Creatures is a mix of live music, puppetry and some spectacular costumes, which has been devised to inspire children aged between two and eight.

It will be performed outdoors in woodland areas throughout Moray, the Highlands and Aberdeenshire from September 6 onwards.

The contract is for 4.5 weeks with Equity-approved wages on offer.

Heather Fulton, the artistic director of Frozen Charlotte, said: "The aim is create a covid-secure show that will bring joy to children and their loved ones and friends.

"We want to celebrate the amazing talent and stunning natural environment here in the North East."

So far the production team includes Moray-based puppeteer and circus performer Rachael Macintyre, Elgin-born actor and musician David Rankine, plus performers from Moray’s Out Of The Darkness Theatre Company.

Designer Kate Mckay and Aberdeen producer Cameron Mowat are also involved.

Contact heather@frozencharlotte.com before May 16, with a CV, headshot photo plus a personal statement of a maximum two pages.
