Lorraine Cullen (47) shared articles about Muslims taking over Europe and said white people were being "indoctrinated" into not having children.

One of her posts read: "May, Merkel, Macron, Rutte, Sturgeon, Lofven, Juncker.. no kids. Our children are being indoctrinated not to reproduce in every way imaginable. Meanwhile Muslim birth rates skyrocket."

In another, posted in December, Ms Cullen said she "wanted to slap" a white woman wearing a hijab "for being so stupid".

Ms Cullen, from Inverness, shared an article suggesting Europe will be majority Muslim within two generations, and called Swedish environmentalist Greta Thuberg an "eco-fascist propaganda poster girl".

Ms Cullen campaigned with Douglas Ross in November as he fought to retain his Moray seat – and signed nomination papers for Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey Conservative candidate Fiona Fawcett.

Mr Ross declined to comment on the matter.

A Conservative Party spokesperson said: "We suspended Lorraine Cullen as soon as we received the information. A disciplinary process will take place in due course."
