TWO further dates of industrial action at Aberdeen Airport have been announced.

The stoppages are planned for June 27 and 28, from 6am until 10am. Security staff, fire and airfield support staff are involved in the strike action.

Aberdeen Airport is part of AGS Airports Limited group, which also owns Glasgow where a series of industrial stoppages are taking pace over the coming days.

The dispute between Unite the union and AGS centres on pay and pensions.

Unite said Aberdeen Airport management yesterday made a repackaged 3% pay offer for 2019, which is materially the same as the one tabled in negotiations through Acas in April.

Passengers at Aberdeen Airport faced delays getting through security when Unite members staged two 12-hour stoppages on June 7 and 10, at the same time as action at Glasgow Airport.
