Burghead Boxing Day Swim 2022 raises over £4000 for local charities

THE latest instalment of the Burghead Boxing Day Swim has raised over £4000 for worthy causes.

Organiser Jamie Campbell was pleased to see hundreds turn out for the event and says that he expects the total funds raised to go up by even more with money still to come in.

The number of hardy souls to take part this year also went up with 25 braving the icy depths of the harbour, an increase of five compared to last year.

Donations will be split evenly between Wild Things, Outfit Moray and Scotia Medical Group.
