The old ‘Anderson and England’ signs were spotted being removed and replaced by new Sterling Home signs yesterday.

The business has been part of the Sterling Furniture Group for over 20 years but is now officially part of the brand.

A spokesperson for Sterling Home told The Northern Scot: “This move marks an exciting evolution for our business and our local customers - one that brings even more choice, inspiration and convenience, without compromising on the quality, service and values our community has come to know and love.

“This rebrand is not a change in ownership, but a natural next step that better reflects who we are today, a family-owned business with a passion for quality furniture, crafted with care, and designed to help people create a home they truly love.

“What remains unchanged is our commitment to our customers in Elgin.

“Our experienced local team is still here, offering the same personal service and trusted expertise.

“What’s new is that customers will now benefit from a wider range of beautiful furniture and homewares through the Sterling Home website and brand, all selected with the same attention to craftsmanship, comfort and style.”

Sterling Home say the move is a “positive change” for the area and will help create a “consistent brand experience” across Scotland.

The business’ spokesperson added: “We’re proud of the history behind these names, and even more excited about their future as part of the Sterling Home story.”
