A SEMINAR on the potential for business development in Moray will take place at Horizon Scotland in Forres.

The event has been organised by Moray Council in conjunction with Highlands and Islands Enterprise and Moray Chamber of Commerce.

It will focus on actions which Moray Council and other key agencies could develop and implement to assist existing and incoming businesses.

These include the provision of sites and premises, physical infrastructure, financial advice and assistance and public sector regulations and procedures.

The programme will include presentations by the Scottish Government, Moray Council, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Business Gateway and Moray Chamber of Commerce.

Among those in attendance will be Jim McKinnon, director for the built environment at the Scottish Government.

There will also be a series of workshops to obtain the views of business representatives on current public sector activities and to discuss the role of Moray Council in supporting the local economy.

Businesses who are interested in attending the seminar on Friday, May 20 should book a place by e-mailing info@moraychamber.co.uk or calling 01340 881226.
