New Lossiemouth council houses approved
A MORAY councillor is "delighted" after witnessing the approval of the first council houses in his community for the past two decades.
The six council flats and four semi-detached houses, which will be built in Lossiemouth, were approved today by Moray Council’s planning and regulatory services committee.
"I am delighted to see the first council houses being built in Lossiemouth for 20 years, even though it is only 10 units," said Heldon and Laich councillor David Stewart.
The new homes will be built next to Inchbroom Avenue in Lossiemouth. Two houses will be built on either side of the block of six flats.
Council officers said they had received no public objections or representations in relation to the application.
