WINDSWEPT Brewing teamed up with Moravian Orienteering Club recently as part of the launch of PIONEER, the Moray LEADER-funded project brew that is ‘Made in Moray’.

Over the weekend of August 15-16, more than 50 small groups of both experienced and inexperienced runners visited the Windswept Taproom in Lossiemouth to try their hand at an orienteering course.

As a reward for completing the course, the adult runners enjoyed a free sample tasting of PIONEER, which is the result of a competition between Windswept team members to create a local brew, and were given a discount code to use in the shop or online. Non-alcoholic refreshments were available for children.

The Windswept Taproom has additional copies of the orienteering map available for the next two weeks, and the Lossiemouth-based brewery is offering Northern Scot readers the chance to claim a free tasting and discount voucher.

Any Scot readers who fancy living by the Windswept ‘best when you’ve earned it’ mantra can grab a copy of the map, take a run around the course and claim their free tasting and discount voucher afterwards. This offer is exclusive to Northern Scot readers – just let Windswept know you found out about the offer via this article.
