On Thursday, January 21, officers in Buckie, supported by the Divisional Alcohol and Violence Reduction Unit, executed a drug search warrant at an address in Buckie.

A quantity of both Class A and Class B drugs was recovered with an estimated value of over £4800.

A 20 year-old female has now been charged in relation to the incident and will appear at Elgin Sheriff Court on a later date this month.

Enquiry officer, constable Harry Bruce of Buckie Community Policing Team said: “This was an intelligence led operation, and we continue to rely on the local community providing us with information and their concerns.

"Anyone with any information should contact Police via 101 or alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given in confidence.”
