Online fitness offer for Moray women

AN ELGIN-BASED fitness instructor is offering local women reduced membership rates to an online club.

Wellness guide Kate Sansum has attracted legions of followers on her Kate's Club Facebook site and website, www.katesansum.com.

The instructor initially slashed the join-up fee as a thank-you to health workers after being approached by a Dr Gray's Hospital staff member looking to subscribe – and then decided to extend the offer to all Moray women.

Kate said the live online classes were inclusive and interactive. She added: "The online classes are still personal – which I think is what people will miss from their face-to-face regular classes.

"I read and reply to the comments, and offer alternatives if anyone finds anything too challenging.

"Lots of local people joined me online for a planking challenge recently."

Her classes include low-impact fitness training live from her gym each morning at 7am, a "Saturday Sizzler" 10-minute exercise blast, and relaxation and stretching on Sundays.

Also a martial arts instructor, Kate has notched up more than 31 years instructing fitness techniques and dance in Moray. In recent months she led well-attended menopause information events at Moray Sports Centre. She also jointly runs Elgin-based Sansum Blackbelt Academy with her husband, Lee.

People seeking to join can use the discount code "SUMMER" at Kate’s Club at https://katesansum.com/kates-club/.
