Online nursery and school registration in Moray to take place in January

PARENTS and carers have been advised that online nursery and school registration in Moray will take place in January.

The online registration process will take place between January 17 and January 28.

Birth certificates and proof of address should be looked out ahead of the registration weeks, with both of these to be uploaded for both school and nursery registrations.

Details of how to request a copy of birth certificates can be found on Moray Council’s website. Bear in mind there will be registrar office closures over the holiday period – full details can be found HERE.

Enrolment for P1 is completely online for August 2022 starts as there is still a limit to external visitors in schools due to Covid-19 safety measures.

All children aged three and four entitled to their funded hours in Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) from August 2022 or January and April 2023 should be registered online during this time period.

Each ELC setting and childminder is different and parents and carers should check the hours being offered prior to choosing their setting during registration.

Applications should not be made before January 17. Session times for ELC settings will be updated on that date.
