The former Victorian corn mill dates back to the late 1800s but was converted into a hotel in the 1950s.

Owners Sophie and David McLean took over in 2018 and have enjoyed over six years of success.

During their time in charge, they have transformed the business into a fully licensed boutique country hotel with five ensuite rooms, an award-winning AA Rosette restaurant and a self-contained three bedroom owners apartment.

The apartment comes with a living room, diner, family bathroom and fitted kitchen.

A spokesperson for agent Business Partnership, which is handling the sale, said: “The present owners purchased The Old Mill Inn in 2018.

“After a very successful and enjoyable period they have reluctantly placed the business on the market due to a change of personal circumstances, resulting in a wish to relocate.”

The main entrance is accessed via a gravel customer car park.

Business Partnership says that the hotel has gained an “excellent reputation for both the standard of accommodation and the quality of the food” over the tenure of the McLeans’ ownership.
