ALL primary one pupils at New Elgin Primary School are self-isolating after coming into contact with a Covid-19 case.

The school will remain open for other year groups, with primary one pupils currently continuing to learn from home.

A spokesperson for Moray Council said: “P1 pupils at New Elgin have been advised by public health to self-isolate due to a positive case within the wider school community.

"These pupils will continue their learning remotely during their self-isolation. We commend our schools’ ability to action this support quickly.

"Due to the robust mitigations in place within the school, it will remain open for all other learners.”
