Dingwall paedophile awaits his fate after Highland court hearing

A Dingwall paedophile has been found guilty of sexual offences against three children.

Lee Taylor (43) was on trial at Inverness Sheriff Court where the jury found him guilty of engaging in sexual activity with, or towards a girl, under the age of 16.

The charge detailed that Taylor repeatedly tickled and touched her on the body, grabbed and cupped her breasts and repeatedly stroked her on the leg.

It continued that he also shuffled his body close to her, pulled her body close to him, rubbed her back and moved his hand toward her buttock and repeatedly touched her buttock.

He also lay on top of the same victim and grabbed her breast.

Taylor also uttered sexual remarks towards the victim and referred to himself as a paedophile for his sexual gratification.

Taylor was also found guilty on a second charge of sexually assaulting a boy under the age of 13.

He repeatedly tickled his victim’s body, touched his stomach, repeatedly touched his penis and crotch area over clothing.

Taylor pulled his young victim on the body to prevent him from moving away and directed sexual communication towards him for the purposes of sexual gratification.

Taylor was found guilty of a third charge, which detailed that he sexually assaulted a woman by touching her buttocks and her vagina.

He was also found guilty of directing sexual communication to a boy under the age of 16 by referring to himself as paedophile.

The charges all took place at addresses in Highland and Moray between 2022 and 2023.

Taylor, of MacIntyre Place, Dingwall, will be sentenced on November 11 and has been placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register.
