It will be the first time in nearly 18 months that the event has been held due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 5k run will take place from 9.30am in the park.

The removal of physical distancing restrictions means that the national Parkrun movement can now resume in local towns and cities across Scotland.

It is free to take part and all you have to do is sign up online in advance at Elgin Parkrun

People are asked not to attend if they have any symptoms of Covid-19.
