Dufftown crash results in man being taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with ‘serious injuries’





A pedestrian has been taken to hospital with “serious injuries” after being struck by a car in a Moray village.

A 36-year-old man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary shortly after 8pm on Friday, January 17, following the incident on Dufftown’s Balvenie Street.

The pedestrian is being treated for serious injuries and the driver of the car - a grey Lexus IS 220D - was unharmed.

The road was closed to allow for an investigation at the scene and has since reopened. Enquiries remain ongoing.
