KEITH and District Young Farmers Club celebrated Scotland’s bard in style at the weekend with a busy Burns Supper.
Almost 200 people attended the celebrations at Longmore Hall on Saturday (January 21) to toast the return of the Young Farmers Club’s Burns Supper.
Secretary Abbie McGillivray said: “The night went really well and we had a great turn out, I think there were about 190 people there.
“It was the first Burns Supper we have hosted since 2020 and it was really nice to be back to bring it back and get back into the swing of things.
“We all had a great time.”
The group celebrated with the traditional Burns supper of haggis, neeps and tatties, which was provided by A&J Catering.
Speeches were then held before people took to the floor to dance the night away to music from The Haggis Chasers Ceilidh Band, who played traditional Scots and Ceilidh music well into the night.
Abbie added: “I think everyone had a really good night, everything went perfectly and we all really enjoyed being able to host a Burns supper for the first time in a good few years.
“Thank you to everyone that came along."
