PICTURES: Lossiemouth set for a great summer with new bridge to the beach

PEOPLE are already making good use of the new bridge to the East Beach in Lossiemouth.

The £1.8 million structure was officially opened on Tuesday, May 31 by Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs Mairi Gougeon.

That saw the culmination of a seven year community campaign to get a new crossing to the popular beach.

Lossie is set for a bumper summer with locals and tourists once again able to access the beach.

Here were feature some more pictures from the grand opening on Tuesday when the sun shone and people flocked across the bridge.
