IT DIDN'T come in time for a white Christmas but snowfall this morning gave the kids of Moray a chance to have some safe outdoor fun.

While the country remains in the midst of a three week lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus, the snow gave people the chance to get outdoors with their young ones to make snowmen and enjoy some sledging fun.

It was great to see the look of joy on the faces of these children in Bishopmill in Elgin as they had some unbridled fun.

Enjoy the snow while it lasts.
