A planning application has been submitted to build 10 homes in Urquhart.

.

The proposed development is on land running behind the village hall on Main Street.

Two of the ten properties have been classified as affordable housing.

The development also includes a small children's play area.

Objections to the plans have been received from 11 different parties living locally.

The reasons include concern about safety at the road junction, as well as the impact the development will have on the character of the village.

Moray Council is due to decide on the matter this coming Tuesday.
