Police appeal for help to find missing hiker David Wightman in the Cairngorms

THE public have been asked for their help to find a missing hiker.

David Whiteman (62) was last seen in the area of Cairn Toul in the Cairngorms at 2pm on Friday, October 8.

David is described as a white male, 6’2 tall, wearing a black Berghaus jacket and carrying a black rucksack with a yellow rain protector. He usually wears glasses.

Anyone who has any information in relation to should contact police on 101 and quote incident number 1624 of 09/10/21 or speak to any officer.
