Police renew appeal to help trace missing Moray man John Geddes as officers grow ‘increasingly concerned’ for 33-year-old’s welfare
Police are asking members of the public to check sheds and outbuildings as their search for a missing 33-year-old man continues.
An appeal to help trace John Geddes from Lossiemouth was launched earlier today, November 12.
He was last seen in the Coulardhill area around 10.30pm on Monday, November 11 and is described as around 5ft 8in in height, of slim build with short brown hair.
When last seen he was wearing a khaki green fleece, black trousers with reflective orange strips and blue Adidas trainers.
Specialist resources, including a helicopter and dogs, are now helping in the search with officers growing “increasingly concerned” for Mr Geddes’ welfare.
Inspector Keith Greg said: “We need to make sure he is safe and well.
“We have significant resources dedicated to this enquiry and are asking people to check private CCTV footage, including doorbell and dash cam in the Lossiemouth area.
“I am also asking anyone living, walking or driving in the area to keep a look out for John. Please check sheds, outhouses, hedges and wooded areas in case he has sought shelter.
“If anyone has seen John or knows where he might be then please call us on 101, quoting reference number 0113 of Tuesday, November 12, 2024.”
