Police investigate drone flown over Moray homes

Police in Forres are carrying out enquiries following a report of a drone flying over homes in in the Knockomie Rise area.

The drone was seen to drop an item onto the roof one house at about 11.40am 1140 on Saturday, May 15.

A police spokesperson said: "We would encourage anyone who has seen a drone flying in the area to come forward.

"I would also encourage anyone planning to fly a drone to do so responsibly and familiarise themselves with the relevant legislation surrounding their use."
