POLICE are hunting those behind a deliberate fire at a Lossiemouth public convenience.

Emergency services were alerted to the blaze at the town’s Railway Park toilets, off Pitgaveny Street, on Tuesday.

At about 6pm, a rubbish bin and other items had been set alight within the men’s toilets - housed in a building known locally as ‘The Pavilion’.

Anyone with information regarding the wilful fireraising is asked to contact the police on 0845 600 5700 or, to remain anonymous, contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
