A CAMPAIGN to protect maternity services at Dr Gray's Hospital in Moray has been relaunched following the closure of the special care facility for ill or premature babies.
The Keep MUM (Maternity Unit for Moray) group attracted more than 1800 followers on Facebook.
Paediatric staffing problems, which led to the closure of Dr Gray's children's ward to overnight admissions, are behind the temporary closure of the four bed special care baby unit.
Around 900 babies are born at Dr Gray's each year and an averge of 11 per cent are admitted to the special unit.
