The road had to be closed yesterday in both directions to allow the work to go ahead.

Enginners from Scotish Water completed the repair in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Work is now progressing to repair the road surface and diversions remain in place for now via Inchberry.

The road is closed just east of Lhanbryde close to the Threaplands garden centre.
