Cullen street to be closed this coming week for resurfacing work by Moray Council
Roadworks are set to close a residential street for this coming week.
Moray Council’s carriageway resurfacing works will mean Judy’s Lane in Cullen will be closed Monday through Friday.
A diversion will be in place following the route York Place, Seafield Place and Seafield Road.
Along the road in Portknockie, Scottish Water are due to have started work outside 11 Reidhaven Street by Monday, June 23 to replace a missing sewer cover. This could take up to three working days.
The firm are also set to begin manhole cover repairs in Buckie this coming Monday or Tuesday on Highland Way, again for three working days.
Also in Buckie, Openreach are scheduled to commence work by June 26 for 10 working days to 48-50 Douglas Crescent to clear a blocked duct.
Openreach works in the town are due to get under way by Monday at 8 and 54 Raffan Road, as well as 48 Archibald Grove and 2 Silberg Drive to install new ultrafast broadband connections. This is to take up to three working days.
Installing a new gas connection will see Scottish Gas Network outside 29 Sutherland Crescent, Buckie for 10 working days, expected to finish by July 2.
Finally, the council are starting resurfacing work at some point before June 30 for a total of 16 working days along Great Western Road between Buckie and Portgordon.
