Rewind Scotland line-up announced

THE world's biggest 1980s music festival which will be returning to Scotland during the summer.

Rewind Scotland will be at Scone Palace for three nights from July 17-19, with DJs on the first night and live music on the last two nights.

Jimmy Sommerville will headline on the Saturday, with Wet Wet Wet doing the same on the Sunday.

Other names taking to the stage on Saturday, July, 18 will be Billy Ocean, the Trevor Horn Band, Nick Heyward, Roland Gift and the Fine Young Cannibals, Hue and Cry, Grandmaster Flash, Altered Images, The Christians, T'Pau and Queen Symphonic which features a full orchestra performing the band's biggest hits.

The line-up for the following day will include Bananarama, Tom Bailey from the Thomson Twins, Heather Small, Shalamar, Limahl, From The Jam, The Blow Monkeys, Altered Images, Pete Wylie from The Mighty Wah!, Owen Paul and John Parr.

Tickets will go on sale at 10am this Thursday.
